The Fremont County Sheriff's Office has recently taken a very personal approach to deterring residents from drinking and driving.

The department, located near Canon City, Colorado, posted the above photo on Facebook, featuring Colorado State Patrol trooper Jamie Jursevics' eight-month-old daughter, with a heartbreaking caption.

On Nov. 15, Jursevics was attempting to pull over a suspected drunk driver when the driver struck and killed her, KMGH‑TV reports. She was just 33-years-old and is survived by her husband and infant daughter.

Retired Army Colonel Eric Peter Henderson, who allegedly drove the vehicle that hit Jursevics, was booked on investigation of vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of a deadly accident, driving under the influence, and careless driving causing death.

He is being held under $1 million bond.
