Dancing with the Stars celebrated Halloween with a night that was a little more spooky for some contestants than others.
James Hitchcliffe and substitute dance pro partner, Jenna Johnson, earned a perfect 30/30 and scored immunity for Week 8, while #teamcherloch, Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke's quest for the mirror ball came to an end, PEOPLE reports.
Hitchcliffe and Johnson's danced the Viennese Waltz to the the song “You Don’t Own Me” while dressed as Harley Quinn and The Joker. The 29-year-old pair don't usually dance together, but after Hitchcliffe's regular dance pro Sharna Burgess suffered a knee injury last week and was forced to watch the dance from above, Johnson stepped in for wild success.
Lochte and Burke's fun came to an end after they found themselves in jeopary with Terra Jole and Sasha Farber, ultimately getting the boot.
After his elimination, Lochte told PEOPLE, “I knew it was going to happen eventually. The people, the friendships that I’ve made here we’re pretty much a second family now. Now I’m saying goodbye, it’s sad. I will be back into weeks for the finale so I can’t say all my goodbyes yet. I learned a lot about myself. No matter how hard people knock me down, I can still get up and keep fighting no matter what and keep moving forward and staying positive.”
Burke added her own message about her favorite part of this season, “Just getting to know him. I mean showing America he’s just a normal guy. I guess stop people from judging when you don’t really know somebody. Ryan is really down to earth, humble, he’s just a normal dude. If I had a brother I would compare him to that.”
