Two juveniles were charged with aggravated arson on Wednesday for the wildfire in Gatlinburg, TN, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Sevier County District attorney.

The district attorney is considering their options that include charging the two as adults and also contemplating other charges, WSPA reports.

The juveniles are not from Sevier County, but do reside in Tennessee. According to the officials, 14 people died in the fires in Gatlinburg and the county. Twelve people died in the fire, one person died from a heart attack trying to flee the fires and the last person died in a car accident attempting to escape.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) is trying to determine the origin of the fire. The investigation is in its early stages and will take several days to complete.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the victims from the fire.
