The New England Patriots defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers during the AFC Championship game Sunday to earn themselves a spot in the Super Bowl, but it seems the Internet was more focused on one of Tom Brady's fashion statements rather than the game itself.
During the game, the Patriots quarterback donned a massive blue coat, bundling up as he sat on the sidelines in 40-something degree weather. While it's normal for players to wear coats while they're not on the field, Brady's extra large jacket raised more than a few eyebrows due to its sheer size, with plenty of people taking to Twitter to try their hand at making a joke about the moment. We have to say, some of them are pretty great.
Some people wondered what purpose Brady's jacket served.

I understand playoff tickets are expensive, but Tom Brady is a millionaire, he shouldn't be sneaking people in under his coat. pic.twitter.com/zeOec8YYVm— Jason Mustian (@jasonmustian) January 23, 2017
Others wondered where he found such an item.
Some mentioned "deflategate."

There were also comparisons to be made.

No word yet on whether Brady will be bringing his massive coat to the Super Bowl with him on Feb. 5, but the Internet is surely crossing its fingers.
