Donald Trump has been executing a flurry of orders since being sworn into the White House on Jan. 20, but his most recent order reportedly shows his particular taste for how his staff looks.
A source who worked on the Trump campaign said the president puts an emphasis on looking the part, explaining that male employees "need to have a certain look" and "be sharply dressed" at all times, particularly as it pertains to ties.
But when it comes to his female staffers, the president reportedly prefers his female employees "to dress like women." As you can imagine, many took issue with this statement for its sexist implications. The source adds that "even if you're in jeans, you need to look neat and orderly" if you work for Trump, before clarifying that most women still feel pressured to wear dresses in order to impress him.
In response to the reported statements, #DressLikeAWoman took over twitter with many women offering their example of what the statement means to them.
