Last night at the Grammys, stars came out in full force to produce some stunning performances and wow crowds in new and unexpected ways, sometimes even in the face of difficulty.
But the life of a presenter is often one of the most criticized roles of the night, an unfortunate truth Netflix star Laverne Cox found out when she announced the performance by Metallica and Lady Gaga.
In the intro, Cox forgot to name Metallica, and the fans immediately called her out on it.
After facing the fury of Metallica fans scorned, Cox took to Twitter to apologize. Apparently, so caught up in the moment (we can't really say we blame her) she completely spaced mentioning the band by name. According to Cox, though, she's a big fan.
What do you think of the whole fiasco?
I actually love metal. I used to own the black album and Master of Puppets. It was just an awful mistake. I am sorry https://t.co/F8cpZhqBjW— Laverne Cox (@Lavernecox) February 13, 2017
