If you've ever thought about making your local Target your permanent residence this is great news. The Target stores of the future will offer wine and beer selections.
As part of a brand redesign, the company announced that its newest store in Houston will have two parts– the classic retail store and a grocery store with a wine and beer section.
“With our next generation of store design, we’re investing to take the Target shopping experience to the next level by offering more elevated product presentations and a number of time-saving features,” said CEO Brian Cornell, in the press release. “The new design for this Houston store will provide the vision for the 500 reimagined stores planned for 2018 and 2019, with the goal of taking a customized approach to creating an enhanced shopping experience.”
This means Target is truly becoming a one-stop-shop for everything you might need.
Not only will the stores be getting new products, their will be an easier pick-up system for online orders, including curb-side delivery.
Customers can expect changes at their local stores as soon October 2017, with 600 stores being updated by 2019.
