Police are searching for the victim in an attempted child abduction case after they say they have identified the suspect, CBS Philly reports.

In a video from early Sunday in a Dunkin' Donuts in Philadelphia, a man can be seen creeping up behind a stroller and appearing to attempt to remove the infant before he is chased away by a man and woman with the child.

The adults left the location with the infant before police arrived, and authorities are now asking who they believe to be the child's parents to come forward in an effort to piece the case together.

"What we see in the video is what appears to be an attempt to abduct a baby," Philadelphia Police Capt. Sekou Kinebrew told WPVI-TV. "We want to make sure we act appropriately if a crime did occur, and we certainly don't want to leave us or the public open for someone who may be doing these crimes repeatedly."

A witness said the man in the video is a regular known for strange and sometimes lewd acts, and that he shouted, “That’s my baby” before touching the child. He reportedly returned to the Dunkin' Donuts on Tuesday and was kicked out after verbally abusing an employee.

No charges have been filed against the man, as police say they need the couple in the video to come forward to build a solid case. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 215-685-3253
