You Won't Believe What These Kids Did to Get Their Hands on a McDonald's Cheeseburger

According to a Fox affiliate, on Sunday night, an 8-year-old boy got behind the wheel of his father's work van and drove his 4-year-old sister to McDonald's to get their hands on a couple of cheeseburgers.

Officer Jacob Koehler said that their dad had gone to bed early that night and their mom had fallen asleep on the couch.

Witnesses called the police but the siblings weren't caught until they were at a Mickey D's location about a mile away from home. During the drive, the 8-year-old impressively made several turns, went over railroad tracks and managed to maneuver it through four intersections. He also obeyed speed limits and traffic laws before getting the vehicle into the drive-thru.

"It was remarkable," Koehler said. "He got him and his sister to McDonald's without hitting anything or running any red lights."

Before police arrived, the kids ate their cheeseburgers with their piggy-bank money.

When authorities asked him how he learned to drive, he said he learned from YouTube videos.

Police are still investigating the incident.
