If You See This Hook in a Public Bathroom, You Need to Call the Police

| Trending News

Well, this is terrifying.

According to Good Housekeeping, authorities have issued a major warning about a specific type of clothing hook that's been appearing in public restrooms. There doesn't seem to be anything suspicious about them when you first glance, but if you look a little closer, you'll see that the items contain a hidden camera that's used to film people getting undressed.

The hooks have barely noticeable holes at the top where the camera films through. Annoyingly, they can be bought as a "home surveillance device" through many online retailers.

Last year, Florida police issued a statement saying that similar contraptions were found hidden in women's restrooms across the state.

They warned, "Anyone who has a public restroom on their property needs to check them closely. If you find anything suspicious you think might contain a hidden camera, don't touch it. Call us right away and we will respond."

We have to wonder if they've shown up in dressing rooms as well.

Stay alert, Womanistas!
