Let's be real, Starbucks' new unicorn drink was created with Instagram in mind, and the coffee giant is getting the social media attention it so craved.
Ever since they announced the colorful concoction, Twitter and Instagram have been ablaze with reactions to the new menu item. Some people are excited to try the multi-colored, multi-flavored creation, while others are asking, "Huh?"
We've compiled some of the best reactions to the upcoming attraction.
He's not wrong. It does seem as if Starbucks has gone a bit overboard with this "flavor-changing" delight.
After all, the press release promises, "A sweet dusting of pink powder, blended into a crème Frappuccino with mango syrup and layered with a pleasantly sour blue drizzle. It is finished with vanilla whipped cream and a sprinkle of sweet pink and sour blue powder topping."

Others can't contain their enthusiasm. Expect to see your Instagram feed flooded with pictures of this drink. We can't help but wonder though, does it turn your tongue a rainbow of colors too?
Probably accurate. How could anyone resist at least trying the magical new mixture? We're betting even those who think it's ridiculous will be sneaking one under the cover of night. After all, there's no official rule that you have to take a selfie at the time of purchase.
"Imitation unicorn" actually sounds pretty environmentally friendly. It would just be plain wrong to use real unicorn in a Starbucks beverage.
Fortunately for this parent, the drink is only available from April 19-23. Not all stores will offer it, either. Customers in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada can track them down at participating stores, but only while supplies last. It wouldn't be a unicorn drink if it was easy to catch, right?
Will you be trying one of these new drinks?
