Instead of letting it get her down, however, she decided to take a unique approach to her own wedding snaps, calling in her bros to serve as her surrogate bridesmaids for a series of photos that are making the Internet smile.
“I came up with the idea one week before the wedding. I was looking into some “making of” pictures of brides with their gang of girls, all in robes, laughing, drinking champagne and all, and I got a bit sad because I wouldn’t be able to do anything like that," she told Bored Panda.
In the snaps, she and her friends don silk robes, read magazines, drink together and perfect some Pinterest-worthy poses as the guys come together to help
“I am very happy with the photos," she added. "Sometimes I look at then and find myself laughing like crazy. But I never imagined this would become so viral.”
As for her actual wedding to then-fiancé, Renato Sinohara, which took place on April 30, that looked picture-perfect too.
"The wedding was simply amazing," Rebeca told BuzzFeed News. "Renato and I share a great love, and it's easy for people to see and feel that when they are around us. It was a very simple and intimate event, and everything was planned just the way we like."
