Dallas Cowboys cornerback Nolan Carroll was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated early Monday morning, Dallas News reports.
A Dallas police officer pulled Carroll over at around 2:15 a.m. and the athlete was arrested. Police did not say what he was stopped for.
About a half mile from where Carroll was arrested, a "welcome to Dallas" party was being thrown in his honor at a club called Sidebar.
WFAA reports that Carroll posted bail at 2:45 p.m. Monday and was released, according to the Dallas County Sheriff's Department.
A Cowboys official said, "We are aware of the situation and are gathering information at this time.''
Carroll signed a three-year, $10 million deal with the Cowboys in March.
