Living that dance life isn't always so glamorous, and Dancing With the Stars' Cheryl Burke is attesting to that with her latest social media post.
Burke posted a couple of photos via Instagram this week showcasing a pretty gnarly injury she got on the dancefloor and used the moment to take a jab at anyone who doesn't take dance seriously as a sport.
"Who says dancing isn't a contact sport?" she captioned the black-and-white photos.
According to her rep, the stunning dancer butted heads with one of her dancers during rehearsal and they had to use butterfly tape to close up the gash, ET reports. That sure sounds like a contact sport to us!
Burke is currently on tour with her Love on the Floor show, which she gave a little sneak peek of to DWTS viewers several weeks back.
Just a day earlier Burke shared a video clip of herself and dancer Jaymz
Maybe it was one of these crazy moves that landed her with a bonked noggin. Either way, we are wishing Burke a speedy recovery.
