Kendall Jenner is opening about her parent, Caitlyn’s memoir and describing the backlash as “insane.”
In a clip from the upcoming episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Jenner discusses Caitlyn’s controversial memoir and its imbalanced portrayal of the family.
“I heard about all the stuff that [Caitlyn] was saying in [the book] and just how a lot of it’s so not true,” she tells her mother, Kris. “The weird part is, I don’t think it’s purposeful lying — I think she really just thinks that’s what happened for some weird reason.”
Kris goes on to suggest that Caitlyn should have chronicled her transgender “journey” rather than slam the family in the memoir, stating that the book will live on forever in print with the “fabricated story.”
Jenner agrees, saying, “And then she goes around dissing the Kardashians, but it’s like, those are the kids that you raised! If you have a problem with them, you raised them!”
The 21-year-old model goes on to say, “That makes no sense to me that she would go around bashing us for no reason — it’s insane, mom! That's insane!”
In the same episode, Kris and daughter, Kim Kardashian sit down to chat about the book, with Kris having sharp words for her ex.
“She never paid a bill from 1972. She didn't know how much a gardener was, and in the book writes: ‘Well, Kris didn’t need me anymore, all the checks for Keeping Up with the Kardashians, they all went to Kris.’ Went to Kris? How about it went to the mortgage, and the insurance and education?”
Kardashian goes on to say that Caitlyn started “three families with three different people” and “f--ked everyone over.” Caitlyn, formerly known as Bruce, was previously married to Chrystie Crownover and Linda Thompson before marrying Kris in 1991.
