Garth Brooks revealed a touching detail of his daughter August's wedding on his Facebook show.
During Live from Studio G, Brooks responded to fan's tweets asking if there was video of the daddy daughter dance at her wedding a few weeks back. The country singer confirmed that there was, in fact, video of the special moment the pair shared to "Nobody Else but You," from Disney's A Goofy Movie.
"We watched this movie together as a 3-year-old baby and dad...4-year-old, 5-year-old. We watched it when she was in high school," he said. "When it came on [at the wedding], I thought, you couldn't have picked a better song for me. Enjoyed every second of the dance."
But Brooks had a touching surprise up his sleeve. After the song August chose, Garth surprised his daughter by having them play a second song. The song? Brooks' wife Trisha Yearwood's hit, "How Do I Live."
Though he started to tear up, Brooks says, he managed to keep it together in the moment.
"I was this stone guy. It was awesome. Everyone else was crying their eyes out. Not the G-man. My wife said, 'I can't believe this.' It was fabulous."
There are no tears when it comes to August's new husband, though. Brooks says he's already a part of the family.
"The boy that we got in the deal is like one of my sons. Love this kid to death. We're lucky to have him in the family," Garth says. "I told her husband this...'here's to forever with you and your babies.'"
