Besides being an awesome mom, star Instagrammer and fitness inspiration to people everywhere, Britney Spears happens to be one of the most talented entertainers around, staying in the game for over a decade and churning out hit after hit.
Despite this, the star has had to deal with lip-syncing accusations for years, with critics slamming her for allegedly performing with backing tracks.
In a new interview with an Israeli TV show before her performance in Tel Aviv on July 3, Spears revealed that she's had enough. While the star admitted she does have playback, she also made sure to note that she is singing live as well.
"It's really funny: A lot of people think I don't sing live. ... Because I'm dancing so much, I do have a little bit of playback, but there's a mixture of my voice and the playback," Spears said.
The 35-year-old added, "It really pisses me off because I am busting my ass out there and singing at the same time and nobody ever really gives me credit for it, you know?"
Spears' manager, Adam Leber, told Medium in 2014 of the star's Las Vegas residency, “To put on the show that she puts on, it’s virtually impossible to sing the entire time and do what she does. She’s singing on every song, basically, when she has the ability to sing. There’s no way you can dance for 90 minutes straight and sing the entire time.”
