This hero is trying to win big!

Military mechanic Lenny Gerome was deemed a hero for his bravery in the deadly Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport shooting on January 6, 2017. His action from the tragic incident, which claimed five lives, earned him national praise and recognition.

A few months after the shooting, Gerome and his wife, Sharon, were invited to compete on NBC’s The Wall. The episode, which will air on Thursday, June 29, will feature the couple testing their luck and knowledge on multiple questions for a large sum of money.

The sneak peek clip above shows host Chris Hardwick teasing three answers to a question. Gerome is confident that his love of country music likely inspired the question and hopes he wife has paid attention to the countless country songs they have heard.

As required of The Wall contestants, Gerome launches a ball into a number on a wall to determine how much money they will be playing for should Sharon answer the question correctly.

The question is revealed and Sharon must guess the lyrics to a 1999 Kenny Chesney song, and luckily for the two of them she chose the correct answer.

“I think it is a very fun cross-cultural experiment for an Italian family from New Jersey to listen to country music,” jokes Hardwick. “I think it’s very open-minded of you.”

The Wall airs on NBC Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
