The family behind TLC’s beloved, Little People, Big World threw a charming baby shower over the weekend for expectant mother, Audrey Roloff, who is currently 31 weeks pregnant.
With the party held at Roloff Farms in Hillsboro, Oregon, the first time mom-to-be was glowing with her bohemian look, wearing the same ethereal white gown seen in her maternity photo shoot.
Close friends and family attended the stunning event, including Roloff’s brother-in-law, Zach and his wife, Tori, along with their bundle of joy, Jackson.
Celebrating with family and cool décor
The party, themed gorgeously with pink and gold décor and hues, was captured on Audrey and Jeremy’s Instagram Stories and Snapchat as they shared the big day with fans, family and followers.
While baby showers are usually for the mom-to-be and her girlfriends, Audrey’s husband, Jeremy proved to be hands-on as he also helped out with the decorating and acted as a photographer, snapping photos of his wife and her friends, including her sister, who rapped about her upcoming child.
Missing Grandma Roloff
Noticeably absent from the festivities though was second-time grandma, Amy Roloff who wrote on her Instagram alongside a snapshot of her grandson, Jackson, that she was in Michigan visiting family.
According to the Roloff’s baby registries, Jeremy and Audrey are expecting their first daughter in just a few short months, with an estimated due date of September.
New beginnings for Audrey and Jeremy...
No doubt the mom-to-be is excited about the new bundle of joy arriving, but she revealed in an Instagram post this past May that the last few months have been stressful due to the expectant parents moving.
“Moving is always hard,” she wrote. “Not just physically, but emotionally — and not just because I'm 6 months pregnant. I have a tough time leaving places that hold so many sweet memories.“
Last night was out last night in our beloved Bend home... The decision to leave Bend was not made without MANY long, intense, and tearful conversations. Ultimately, Jeremy lead us in the decision to move back to Portland to be close to our families and the farm with baby girl on the way - eliminating the copious amounts of back and forth we've been doing over the past two years.... Moving is always hard. Not just physically, but emotionally - and not just because I'm 6 months pregnant. I have a tough time leaving places that hold so many sweet memories. I think Bend will always feel like home to us. I'm brimming with thankfulness as I reflect back on all of the ways that the Lord has provided for us, refined us, grown us, blessed us, and worked through/in us during our time in Bend. The hardest part about moving is hands down leaving our community. Our house church family in Bend is truly the most honest, generous, vulnerable, encouraging, accountable, God-fearing, spirit-lead, and Jesus loving group of people I've ever been given the privilege to do life with. To say our faith has been stretched and strengthened these past few years is a staggering understatement. I am torn between excitement and sadness - to be expected with such transitional times in life. Nevertheless, Jeremy and I topped off a full day of packing with some pizza on our empty bedroom floor, a tearful (on my end) illumination of the past two years, and a prayer for all that lies on the road ahead. #alwaysmore #journeyofjerandauj #beating50percent #stayingido Since we begun the packing process, I've been living in this maternity robe from @shoppinkblush plus I'm a sucker for all things floral? #shoppinkblush #6monthspregnant #26weekspregnant
Their heavenly maternity shoot
The couple also shared a sweet video of their maternity photo shoot on social media over the weekend that found the creative couple in the center of a field of daisies, which Audrey adds was a sentimental spot for them when they started dating.
In her Instagram post, she now says their love has “multiplied.”
“Every year, when the wild daisy fields bloom, it reminds me of the summer we fell in love. And every year, I am more in love with this man that God has given me. Today, our love continues to multiply in more ways than one.”
Before Jer and I started dating, we spent the perfect summer day picking warm berries and walking alongside the tracks through the daisy fields. It was the day that Jeremy began calling me "Daisy Braids" and the day that our love multiplied. Every year, when the wild daisy fields bloom, it reminds me of the summer we fell in love. And every year, I am more in love with this man that God has given me. Today, our love continues to multiply? in more ways than one;) "God of mercy sweet love of mine, I have surrendered to Your design, May this offering stretch across the skies, And these Halleluiahs be multiplied."
