In CMT’s CMT Crossroads: Earth, Wind & Fire and Friends concert, the legendary R&B group shared the stage at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena with a number of country famous country acts including Lady Antebellum, Darius Rucker and Martina McBride for many timeless songs. But one performance took an R&B classic to new heights.
For the song “After the Love Has Gone” Rascal Flatts took the stage and not only does the band join the R&B crooners in simply singing the classic hit, Rascal Flatts lead singer Gary LeVox’s lets his voice soar.
The once in a lifetime performance, which aired on CMT on June 23 was so powerful that the band was still talking about it on social media, posting a link to the performance to their Facebook on Thursday.
“Still can’t believe we got to sing ‘After the Love Has Gone’ with Earth, Wind & Fire!!” the band wrote.
