There's great news, iced coffee fans!
Beginning next Tuesday, certain Starbucks stores with a Reserve coffee bar in the United States and Canada will start to offer two new cold brew drinks that you can't find at just any ole Starbucks.
The first of the specialty drinks is the Nitro Dirty Chai, a spin on the classic that involves topping off a chai tea latte with a shot of espresso. The concoction is made by pouring Nitro Cold Brew over a blend of chai syrup and cream, creating layers of cold brew and creamy chai foam.
The second new beverage, the Nitro Cascara Cloud, is created by pouring Nitro Cold Brew over vanilla bean syrup and topping it all off with cold foam made by blinding milk and syrup made from cascara, which is the dried fruit of the coffee cherry. The result?
A rich beverage with delicious notes of chocolate and berries.
On July 11, the two drinks will join a growing list of specialty iced coffees at Starbucks Reserve bars in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Honolulu. The specialty coffee bars are also hosted around the world in Latin America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
